Close to a train station and centre of York in 15 minutes on foot.

We enjoyed this place, it has very good stuff and location. The breakfast was included and had lots of meals.

Everything was simply great. The staff was cheerful, the hotel was fairly clean and placed in an amazing part of the city just off the city centre, The Shambles, a train line.

I loved that hotel had exceptional staff and location. The room was spotless on the 3 floor and had a kettle, central heating and a work desk.

The staff was attentive, the room was cosy, everything was fine. Its location was central, an easy walk to City Walls.

Full English breakfast was freshly prepared and the staff were polite. Spotlessly clean building, large bedroom. A residential location, walking distance to a museum and city walls.

Stayed here for a weekend trip and had a really great time, we recommend this hotel. Not to mention private parking outside, it was perfect to have.

Beautifully designed place overall, it is perfectly clean, location is UNBEATABLE close to river.

Central location, not too far from York Minster. It provides good restaurant nearby.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, it was comfortable, the service was brilliant. Beautiful location relatively near York's Chocolate Story. Visited few places in the centre, at a short distance from the hotel. Extremely friendly staff, they kept the venue fairly clean.

We loved the French furniture and exceptional location. The beds were good and the room was very specious & classic double. Reasonably priced & exceeded high expectations for one night.

Informative staff, absolutely fantastic breakfast, free wi-fi. All in all it's clean place, they have extremely comfy beds. Attentive services too! Absolutely perfect location, walking distance to the bars. A good choice of food options next to the venue.

The breakfast was gorgeous, the stuff was professional, the grounds where fairly clean. Lovely beds, room was neat. They made my stay relaxing. The hotel was not far from town centre and city centre too thanks to its peaceful location.

It deserves its 4 stars. Location and staff are excellent! We were offered large double room with a heating system and flat-screen TV which were very good.

we really enjoyed staying at st marys guest house. we recommend you to eat at the minster inn, that is set 600 metres away. of course, we would recommend it to anyone. an excellent place for exploring york.
